Can I hire an item from outside the UK?

Currently we are only able to provide our rental service within the UK but we will be looking to expand this further in the future.

How long can I rent a garment for?

You can hire our garments for a single weekend (4 days), for one week (8 days), two weeks (15 days) or a month (29 days).  The longer the hire is the cheaper the average daily rental rate becomes.

 

How much do I pay for postage?

All postage fees for receiving and returning your items are included in the advertised rental price.

Can I rent a garment at short notice?

We ask that orders are placed a minimum of 14 days prior to the start of the desired rental period.  If shorter notice is required, please contact us directly at info@heravintage.co.uk and we may be able to accommodate you.

 

How do I return my items?

Your package will include a prepaid postage label for the return journey. Place your items back in their original packaging, seal it and affix the postage label over the top of the outgoing label to avoid confusion. Then hand in your parcel to the nearest DHL drop off point before close of business on the last day of your rental period.

Is the security deposit actually taken from my card?

Yes.  For orders that are required to pay a security deposit the amount is debited from your account and refunded after the items are returned.

 

When do I get my security deposit back?

Once returned items are received at our studio their condition will be checked and deposits refunded accordingly. We accept that some level of wear and tear or staining is inevitable.

 

What if I’m late returning my items?

Late returns will continue to be charged at the advertised rental rates and invoiced accordingly.  

 

What if I lose the item?

Lost items will be charged at their full retail value minus any rental charges incurred up to that point.
