Sustainability starts with the design at Hera Vintage, which is why we design, and pattern cut all of our pieces to be dual sized. You can go up or down several dress sizes and your piece still fits and feels fantastic.

This jacket is a 100% recycled garment, with the main body and detachable collar made from ex-home furnishings.

Hera Vintage is an accredited member of the living wage foundation. All of our employees receive a living wage or more for the skilled work that they do.

Created from a Vintage quilt dating back to the 1970’s it depicts a variety of playful characters including several kitty cats, panda bears, bunnies and duckling. Each panel has been hand embroidered and appliqued using blanket stitch which gives the most wonderful folk finish. This piece has then had additional quilting throughout to provide additional definition, to strengthen and preserve for years to come.

The overall garment has taken our expert team 9 hours to construct with a further 6 hours of restoration and hand finishing.
